You live the film fearing with the fearful, sympathizing with those at the receiving end. That's the magic of competent films, a sturdy theme, a swift paced series of action scenes with a backdrop of constant tension fastly proceeding to an explosive climax is the magic of good movies. I had a bad start with Adkins when I switched off his film just a few minutes down the watching. I don't even remember the title but in it he features as a Vietnam POW, i wasn't impressed. A complete turn around of opinion was sparked by his film the Ninja. Since then Adkins is my pure hero
